the fast and the furious:

a musical parody

we do it all in cars

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: A MUSICAL PARODY, is a full length unauthorized (seriously, Universal is probably pretty pissed) parody of the Fast and The Furious franchise, that sold out it’s entire 2019 run at the Dynasty Typewriter Theater.. Featuring 15 original songs, the hilarious fully-staged, fully- choreographed show lambasts the best car-centric action series ever created. And no, the creators of the show do not believe that “best” is subjective.

The laugh out loud show follows your favorite car-driving gang members battling their greatest foe yet— singing and dancing at the same time. The show is directed by Michael Klein (founder of Circadian Pictures) and features all original art and props by Andy Aidekman (Hack My Life, Beat Bobby Flay). Unprecedented in the history of live theater (unless you know another Fast and Furious musical) and featuring a cast of mostly women playing men (take that Shakespeare!), the show parodies the entire franchise, not just the original. This part parody/part love-letter to the franchise is for both fans of the series and people who’ve never heard Dom say “family.”
